How to care for your earrings:

Mellow Dove earrings are made from polymer clay, a lightweight, plastic-based clay. The baked clay is quite durable; however, it can break so take care not to drop or place the earrings under anything heavy.

Do not shower, swim, or sleep in your earrings to prevent damage and ensure the earrings last as long as possible. If earrings get dirty, you may clean them gently with a baby wipe, makeup wipe, or lint-free jewelry cloth. Brass pieces can be polished with ketchup or Brasso.

Aside from clay, what materials are used in your earrings?

All Mellow Dove earrings feature either stainless steel, gold-plated, or silver plated posts and hooks. Each listing will describe which type of post or hook is used for that design.

Additional hardware, such as jump rings and decorative pieces that do not go in the ear, are typically brass or glass charms.

Are your earrings hypoallergenic?

All Mellow Dove earring posts are made from either stainless steel, gold-plated, or silver-plated metals. Most people with sensitive ears can wear these metals with no issues, but please know there is no guarantee they will be hypoallergenic for every person.

Mellow Dove earrings are also comfortably lightweight, minimizing chance of irritation.

Return Policy

Due to the nature of the unique products offered for sale and for hygienic purposes, Mellow Dove Designs does not accept returns, exchanges or cancellations. All sales are final. Please read and review all product listings and your shopping cart before checkout.

Exceptions may be made for items that arrive damaged or defective. Please contact me and I will do my best to assist you.

Shipping Policy

Orders are typically processed within 1-3 days; however, the time needed to prepare an order for shipping may vary based on the item(s). Shipping costs are calculated at checkout and are dependent on the customer’s provided address, the chosen carrier rates, and the weight of the item. Please make sure to enter the correct shipping location at checkout as this cannot be changed after the order is completed. Mellow Dove is not responsible for an incorrect location entered by the customer.
